The
World Expo is held once every five years to
bring together the community of nations on a
platform of cultural exchange and dialogue.
Ahuja Consultants Pvt Ltd. worked closely
with Design Habit for all structural aspects of
the mezzanine structure to create the India
Pavilion, which housed a walk-through experience
of India. The structure was proof-checked by
Japanese Structural Engineers and found
satisfactory.
The
two chosen metaphors were the Bodhi Tree and the
Dharma Chakra, in keeping with the larger theme
of Natures Wisdom and in sync with Japanese
thinking. The pavilion was a fine blend of the
ancient and new avenues of wisdom, knowledge and
celebration along with achievements in art,
science, social development and technological
advancement. |
